Footwork:
Laying the FoundationĀ
The primary footwork concept used in this sequence is the Curtsy Step. A key element I learned from SiniŔa (AKA 'Alpaca Flow') was how to combine this step with a simultaneous Overhand Sneak to provide the powerful rotational component of the Pink Panther!
Before we get to working on Sneaks & Dragons with the rope, let's first define the 270 degree 'Panther Curtsy' footwork and body positioning.
The Curtsy SneakĀ
Ā
This movement is the core element of the Pink Panther sequence, you'll be doing it twice in both the overhand and underhand directions to complete a full 30 beat circuit.
This is the real dance within the dance and once you learn it, you'll be able to utilize it with multiple Panther variations and other movement patterns as well.
Let's break it all down!
